Do You Need to Be an Experienced Speaker to Apply?
No, you don’t need prior experience as a speaker to apply. We welcome first-time speakers and offer resources, tips, and mentoring to help you prepare a successful presentation.
Do You Need Help with Your Talk?
Here are some tips to guide you:
- Be Clear and Concise: Clearly outline the key points of your talk in your proposal.
- Highlight Your Skill: Showcase your experience and knowledge in the topic area.
- Give a Detailed Outline: Include the main points and any visuals or resources you plan to use.

One of our fundamental principles is to focus on gender and regional diversity. For WordCamp Masaka 2025, we are targeting the following to guarantee proper inclusion and diversity.

- 40% non-male speakers
