We’re happy to announce that WordCamp Masaka 2026 is officially on the calendar!
WordCamp Masaka will take place on July 4, 2026, at Equator University of Science and Technology, Masaka, Uganda, bringing together developers, designers, entrepreneurs, content creators, and WordPress users from Masaka and beyond.
Organized by local volunteers and part of the global WordCamp program, WordCamp Masaka is a community-driven open-source conference focused on learning, collaboration, and shared growth around WordPress and the open web. Whether you are building your first website or working professionally with WordPress, you’ll find a welcoming space to learn and connect.
Guided by the theme “Building the Web, Together,” WordCamp Masaka 2026 emphasizes the collective nature of open source. The event highlights how individuals, communities, and shared knowledge come together to shape the web—locally and globally.
What to Expect
Across two days, attendees can look forward to:
- Talks and sessions led by community members and practitioners
- Practical insights into building, managing, and growing with WordPress
- Opportunities to connect, share experiences, and learn from one another

At its core, WordCamp Masaka is about people—volunteers who organize the event, speakers who share what they’ve learned, and attendees who actively contribute to a diverse and inclusive community. Together, we build skills, relationships, and a stronger local presence within the global WordPress ecosystem.
