WordCamps are community-driven conferences dedicated to WordPress, the open-source platform powering over 43% of the web. Sanctioned by the WordPress Foundation and run entirely by volunteers, these events bring together users of all levels—from beginners to professionals—to share knowledge, explore new technologies, and build connections through talks and workshops in a welcoming environment. Unlike corporate events, WordCamps focus on community spirit, supported by tickets and sponsorships; since the first 2006 WordCamp in San Francisco, more than 1,200 have been held across 75 cities in 60 countries.
WordCamp Masaka 2026 is the 4th WordPress conference in the Greater Masaka region, taking place July 4. The event will bring together 400+ web professionals, developers, designers, entrepreneurs, educators, students, and open-source enthusiasts for two days of talks, panel discussions, and workshops. It is a celebration of local innovation where code meets culture and ideas turn into action, supported by our sponsors and community.
